In the case of obtaining the consent of their parents or guardians, all the286neonatal blood samples were collected and studyed in Gansu Provincial Children’s Hospital from June2011to January2012. We extracted DNA from selecting samples and positive strains as a template and got25pairs of primers which were designed according to ultimately selected25genes from NCBl database of GBS gene. In these genes, there are2pairs associated with GBS surface antigen,5pairs associated with the causative agent of capsular polysaccharide,3pairs associated with pathogenic factor serine protease and1pair C5a peptidase gene,3pairs related to the superoxide dismutase,1pair related to punch hormone related genes,1pair associated with bacterial adhesions, and as well as other pathogenic factors related gene. For every primer, PCR conditions were optimized through the identified GBS, and25pairs of primers were arrayed as to be used to study on neonatal GBS infection.PCR ARRAY experimental results show that the14positive samples were detected, accounting for5.1%of the selected specimens. It is similar with domestic reports but lower than Europe and the United States. To selected specimens follow-up survey, none of the cases died. Studies have shown that the gene expression about immune evasion has a higher frequency. As well-know, neonatal GBS infection is mainly due to the lack of antibodies against GBS in their bodies, which comes form their mother’s bodies. Neonatal premature birth, low birth weight and other factors result in a higher susceptibility to GBS infection. However, the peresnt study suggests that the strategy of GBS immune adaptation may play an important role in neonatal GBS infection. In addition, neonatal genetic susceptibility may be another reason in in neonatal GBS infection.
