An Analysis Of Influence Factors On Patient’s Postoperative Satisfaction After Total Knee Arthroplasty

Objective:To explore the patient’s postoperative satisfaction after total knee arthroplasty and probable influence factors.To determine the relationship between them and to provide basis for that how to improve patient’s postoperative satisfaction.Methods:Between June2011and October2012,105patients in Qilu hospital accepted TKA.All patient had rheumatoid arthritis or osteoarthritis.Male patients were twenty-seven and male knee were forty-four.Female patients were seventy-eight and female knee were ninety-five.The age were between45y to87y and the average age was66.2y.All patients were followed up after3months and investigated their postoperative satisfaction. The influence factors were determined such as age,gender,culture degree,economy situation,mental health (SF-12grades),postoperative complications,knee joint HSS score,etc.The results with the data were analysis by single factor test and logistic regression analysis.Results:According to different factors and the effect of whether satisfied with surgery in patients with single factor analysis of P value, determine the influencing factors and logistic regression analysis found that the economic situation,mental health status,postoperative knee whether recovery and postoperative complications is directly related to patient satisfaction (P<0.05).Conclusions:①Family economic condition,knee joint function after surgery,mental health were positively related with the satisfaction of patients after total knee arthroplasty.Complications after total knee arthroplasty have significant negative impact with patient’s postoperative satisfaction.②Improve people’s income level and medical health input,intensive nursing and psychological counseling,more exquisite technology of surgery doctors can improve the satisfaction of patients for total knee replacement.
