Frog Kick Exercise Method Application In Postoperative Lumber Fusion

Objective:Provide a modem triplicity high effective and high efficiency rehabilitation therapy of postoperative adult lumber fusion featured with Frog Kick exercise methodMethods:Through comparative analyze2groups of90lumber fusion patients in Qilu Hospital of Shandong university during time period from mid2012to early2013, compare relative differences base on statistic data of average discharge score and average lumber JOA score improvement rate,P<0.05for significant difference.Patients are randomly grouped,one of which take traditional leg rising and Aerobic fitness work after Magnetic Force Vibration Heat (MVH) and low frequency therapy treatment,another take the new Frog Kick exercise method once a day under doctor guide and intendance while receiving MVH and low frequency therapy treatment. Both of the2groups receive salmon calcitonin and escin drug treatment meanwhile.Results:Both of the2groups show successful lumber fusion by over-extension X-ray film after3months without rehaemorrhgia and pain aggravation. Traditional group’s average discharge score is6.78, and new Frog Kick exercise team get a average discharge score of6.87, the relative difference is1.32%; average lumber JOA score improvement rate of traditional group is26.892%, while the Frog Kick method team get28.173%, their relative difference is4.65%. These unveil both methods can guarantee effective rehabilitation,while the Frog Kick exercise team is a bit better in lumber JOA score improvement rate compared to the other.Conclusions:The new triplicity rehabilitation therapy combined Frog Kick exercise and physical therapy with drug therapy together,is no worse than traditional lumber fusion postoperative rehabilitation therapy according to lumber JOA score improvement rate but can shorten two third treatment time, may be a new choice for adult lumber fusion postoperative rehabilitation treatment...
