Objective:Through establishing lithium chloride-pilocarpine epilepsy modelrats,acuputure du meridian acupoints on experimental research and hippocampalepileptic seizures in rats behavior of NF-κB, explore the pathogenesis of epilepsy and dumeridian acupuncture meridians antiepileptic effect, for the clinical application ofacupuncture treatment of epilepsy, provide more scientific basis.Methods:30Wistar rats were randomly divided into blank group, model group andacupuncture group. Blank group as control, do not do any processing.Model group andacupuncture group rats by intraperitoneal injection of lithium chloride in turn, the horseroca, LI-PC epilepsy animal models is established. Model group and acupuncture groupafter status epilepticus rats, to observe behavioral change of epilepsy rats. After thesuccess of the model group rats to build mold no treatment; rats in the acupuncture groupafter the success of the building to acupuncture treatment. Acupuncture treatment grouprats is put to death all three groups of rats after the same time, take the brain hippocampalparts made paraffin section, using immunohistochemical staining method research groupsof rats hippocampus NF-κB expression, and then come to the conclusion.Result:(1)The behavior of rats normal group were normal, model group andacupuncture group after building a seizure behavior in rats.Model group there are7levelsonly rats appeared Ⅳ-Ⅴ behavior, attack rate was70%. In Ⅴ level1rats after death.Mortality is5%.6rats in acupuncture group levels Ⅳ-Ⅴ behavior, attack rate was60%.Two groups of rats after building,65%of the rats in status epilepticus (SE), prompt theexperiment successfully establish lithium chloride-horse roca (LI-PC) epilepsy model.Level of seizures of rats similar between the two groups have no statistical significance(P>0.05);(2) Acupuncture group rats spontaneous recurrent seizure duration andfrequency is lower than the model group rats, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);(3) Model group rats generally worst, acupuncture group rats generallybetween model group and blank group. Three groups of rats in front of the building therewas no statistical significance (P>0.05) difference weight, experiments for7days and15days weight differences had statistical significance (P<0.05), increased the weight ofmodel group rats the slowest, blank group rats weight fastest growing, acupuncture group increased the weight of rats between model group and blank group;(4) The microscopicobservation of blank group rats hippocampus nerve cell cytoplasm positive reaction,yellowish-brown model group rats hippocampus nerve cell nuclei positive reaction,yellowish-brown acupuncture group between the two. Acupuncture group, the modelgroup rats hippocampal nf-kappa B is larger than that of blank group rats the nf-kappa Bpositive cells, model group and blank group, acupuncture group and model group,acupuncture group compared with blank group, the difference had statistical significance(P <0.05).Conclusion:Seizures after rat hippocampal nuclear transcription factor the nf-kappaB is activated, and its expression significantly enhanced. Du meridian acupunctureacupoints inhibits the activity of the nf-kappa B, reduce spontaneous recurrent seizures intime and frequency, and improves the life quality of epileptic rats and the growthcondition. Acupuncture has good effect for the treatment of epilepsy, therefore, researchon acupuncture and moxibustion from the central mechanism of antiepileptic effect, has abroad research value and prospect.
