The study of plot illusion has been a research hotspot in the field of air force medical, as the performance of aero improved so did many of problem about illusion. The paper has controlled and developed a four degree of freedom platform model based on illusion simulation and prepared for semicircular canal research.In this paper, there were four aspects work implemented. The emphasis was to solved the applied problem, which included four degree of freedom platform’s overall design and the software design and the study of platform stability based on created platform model and evaluation of the platform rotation parameters by experiment of illusion and carioles’ acceleration.The turntable system’s overall design, which includes the selection of platform’s mechanical structure, motor, measurement device and controller that was designed master-slaver structure, is given according the project’s technical indicators and moment as well as angular acceleration. The rotating platform has several components:Motor and Motion structure, the PC, the lower computer, the motor controller unit and platform state detection unit. ARM is responsible to receive the velocity signals through four RS232-Serial-Ports and transmit command signals from PC to MSP430through RS232-Serial-Ports. At the same time, ARM is to receive the command signals from the PC and transmit position signals and direction signals, velocity signals to PC.Compared with different control modes of the motor by experimental, we select better control mode according to the design accuracy. Motor was controlled by signal which created by voltage to frequency converter and PWM signal respectively, compared of them form the accuracy of the rotation by angular displacement.Use Lab VIEW to write PC control interface and control command word to complete the zero adjustment on a rotating platform, speed control, angle control and direction control.Implementing speed detection, the position detector and the position-limited by the incremental encoder and limit sensors on the system as well as establish a simulation model and use of the PID algorithm to design speed control of the rotating platform.We used the angular velocity measuring device to detect the rotating platform model and evaluate whether it can reach the threshold of the semicircular canals or not. The study made use of Platform to simulate rotation Illusions conditions and Carioles’ acceleration, analyze the angular velocity sensor data and evaluate platform performance.
