The Research About The Pelvis X Measurement Of The Acetabular Anteversion

Objective:We measure the anteversion angle of acetabular cup on theanteroposterior view radiographs of specimens pelvic. To find the relationshipbetween anteversion and abduction angle, and compare the reliability,feasibilityand practicability of the traditional Pettersson formula and Dai Shifeng formula,and provide theoretical basis for clinical practice.Methods:In the experiment we have6normal male adult cadaverspecimens. Exposure pelvis bone structure and reaming acetabulum, Fix thepelvis and simulated acetabular cup to the registration device. Loaded thesimulated acetabular cup at different abduction angles． Take standardradiograph of the pelvis accordingly．The application of Pettersson formula andDai Shifeng formula to calculate the prosthesis anteversion angle respectively,the results were compared and analysis-ed.Results: At various anterior tilt angle of the acetabular cup on the pelvic,thete was no difference between experiment groups(P>0.05),and there wasdifference between experiment and reality group(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Pettersson formula and Dai Shifeng formula in pelvicradiograph on prosthesis anteversion angle determination has large error.2Inan anteroposterior radiograph of the pelvis, the difference between theexperiment value(calculated by Shifeng formula) and reality value will beincreased as the abduction angle increases.
