The Effect Of Yinxieping Pill On The Patients With Psoriasis Vulgaris In Peripheral Blood Of VEGF And OPN

Objective:To observe the effects of Yinxieping pill on psoriasis vulgaris and its impact on VEGF and OPN in serum;To investigate the possible mechanism of Yinxieping pill in treating psoriasis vulgaris.Methods:Seventy patients with psoriasis vulgaris were assigned equally in a single-blind, randomized way to the treatment group (Yinxieping Pill) and the control group (Xiaoyin keli).35patients in the treatment group treated with Yinxieping pill and the other35in the control group treated with Xiaoyin keli. The therapeutic course for both groups was8weeks.Besides,a normal control group consisting of20healthy volunteers was seted up. The PASI in different groups were observed and scored before and after treatment to evaluate the therapeutic effectiveness.The levels of osteopontin (OPN)and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in serum of psoriastic patients before and after treatment were detected with Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbnent Assay (ELISA),and20healthy serum samples were taken as healthy controls.Moreover, the correlation was analysed between PASI scores and VEGF and OPN concentration in serum measured by ELLISA.Results: 1. The PASI scores were significantly decreased after the treatment in both groups (P<0.01,P<0.01), but the decrement in the treatment group was more significant than that in the control group(P<0.05).2. The total clinical effective rates in the treatment group and the control group were85.71%and58.82%respectively.The comparison between groups showed that the total effective rate in the treatment group was significantly superior to that in the control group (P<0.05).3The levels of VEGF and OPN in serum in the two patient groups before treatment was obviously higher than those in the healthy control (P<0.01,P<0.01;P<0.01,P<0.01), after treatment, the levels of VEGF and OPN in serum were significantly decreased in both groups (P<0.01,P<0.01;P<0.01,P<0.01), with the changes in the treatment group were more significant than those in the control group (P<0.01,P<0.01).4. There was a positive correlation between the level of VEGF or OPN and PASI scores of psoriastic patients,but there was not a correlation between VEGFand OPN.Conclusion:1. No matter Yinxieping Pill or Xiaoyin keli,there was better curative effects for psoriastic patients. But the former curative effect was the latter. 2. There was abnormal VEGF and OPN in periheral blood of psoriastic patients.Yinxieping Pill and Xiaoyin keli can correct abnoral VEGF and OPN,but the effect of Yinxieping was more obvious.3. Yinxieping Pill may remedy patients with psoriasis by inhiting the TH1cell reflect.
