Objective:We study the expression of insulin-like growth factor-I (IGF-I)in tissue of gastriccancer(GC) and analyze the relationship of the factor and pathological alternation afterneoadjuvant chemotherapy(NC).To compare tissue fractionation, the expression ofmetastatic lymph node, clinic characteristic, different location in gaster. The curativeeffect and evaluation of NC patients are analyzed, including the expression of IGF-I andchange of tissue pathology..That how the NC be effect is deduced. Methods:We select suitable152GC tissues. The expression of IGF-I was detected by S-Pimmunohistochemistry methods in152GC cases including98NC cases, tissuefractionation, the expression of metastatic lymph node, clinic characteristic, tumorlocation of patients are analyzed. The98GC cases accept NC. The chemotherapyschedules and curative effect of NC are written in detail. All the excisional gastric tissuesare detected by pathologic methods. The alternation of postoperative pathology weredetected and analyzed.Result:In the98GC patients who underwent NC,the expression of IGF-IThe expressions ofIGF-I are influenced by clinic staging. Among45positive IGF-I expression GC patients, the number of responsive NC is36. Among51negative IGF-I expression GC patients, thenumber of responsive NC is31.The expressions of IGF-I are significantly higher in clinicalIII-IV stage than I-II stage. The higher IGF-I expression in GC is, the more effective andsensitive of NC. Conclusion:The IGF-I was closely corresponded with clinical stage of GC. The more expressionof IGF-1in GS patients, the higher of effective power is. IGF-I is a feasible and effectiveanticipation method to NC of GC.
