Preliminary Research On Introduced Maca In Yunnan

Objective: preliminary research on Maca’s pesticide effect which planted in Yunnan,provide pesticide effect facts for furthering research.Methods:Ⅰ. Lumbar injection with cyclophosphamide to a mouse and get a model of mousewith hypoimmunity, observing carbon particles index K, phagocytic index a, chestand gland index and spleen index, understand the characteristics and intensity ofMaca to nonspecific immunity.Ⅱ. Drenching purple, white and yellow Maca to the mouse for17days, let the mouseswim with bear load, record its swimming time.Ⅲ. Drenching purple, white and yellow Maca to the mouse for17days, do thehypoxia tolerance test and record the time.Ⅳ.Drenching purple white and yellow Maca and positive control medicine to themouse for14days for getting the mouse model with hyperlipemia, examining thecontent of cholesterol and triglyceride.Ⅴ. Drenching retinoic acid to the mouse for the model with osteoporosis, measuringthe index of serum calcium, tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase, alkaline phosphataseand shaft of femur.Ⅵ. Occlusion the mouse model with Subacute senile through D-galactose, testingMDA content in blood serum, vitality of SOD, vitality of GSh-Px, content of H202,weight change, chest and gland index and spleen index.Results:Ⅰ. Purple, white and yellow Maca can increase phagocyte index obviously a（P<0.001）,while they have no significant influence to chest and gland index andspleen index（P>0.05）. Ⅱ. Purple, white and yellow Maca can extend the mouse’s swimming time with bearload significantly（P<0.01or P<0.001）.Ⅲ. Purple and yellow Maca can improve the mouse’s hypoxia tolerance abilityobviously（P<0.001）, while white Mace has no obvious influence to it（P>0.05）.Ⅳ. Purple, white and yellow Maca to the testing hyperlipemia mouse’s TC and TGreduce through egg-nog has no statistics meaning (P>0.05), while purple Mace hasthe function of showing the increase of hyperlipidemia.Ⅴ. The animal’s blood serum is reduced comparatively compared the StrACP withpurple Maca to the mouse model.Ⅵ. Maca can reduce the blood serum’s MDA level of the mouse throughsubcutaneous injection with D-galactose obviously; lighten the growth of mouse’sweight, while it has no influence on the vitality of blood serum, vitality of GSH-Px,content of H202, chest and gland index and spleen index.Conclusion:Ⅰ. Three kinds of Maca can enhance the non specific immunity, but have no obviousinfluence to immune organs.Ⅱ. Three kinds of Maca dose can extend the mouse’s swimming time, and purple andyellow Maca is better than white Maca on fatigue relieving.Ⅲ. purple yellow Maca dose can improve the mouse’s ability of anti-hypoxia.Ⅳ. Three kinds of Maca have no signs for supplementary Antiatheroscloresis, andpurple Maca has the function for showing the increase of hyperlipidemia.Ⅴ. Purple Maca can reduce the big mouse’s blood serum of StrACP withOsteoporosis through retinoic acid to some extent.Ⅵ. All the three kinds of Maca have the function of antioxidant.
