ObjectiveTo probe into the minimum preparation height of low molar by measured with theretention of complete crown.MethodsProduced with1.0,1.5,2.0and2.5mm crown height and0°taper as the modelgroup,4.0mm crown height and6°taper as the control group. Each group wasmeasured by Autograph Force Meter, the data was analyzed in Dunnett-t test.ResultsBefore cementation, the model group were (11.38±2.55) N、(19.20±2.52) N、(30.60±4.17) N、(48.41±3.65) N;after cementation, they were (109.20±21.76) N、(195.52±28.32) N、(263.55±44.53) N、(357.90±19.85) N.the control group were(28.89±4.17) N and (303.33±27.81) N.To compared with the control group,the1.0,1.5, and2.5mm group has significant difference(p<0.05),the2mm group hasno significant difference(p>0.05).ConclusionsWhen the preparation height was lower than2mm and even if the taper was0°,the retention of complete crown decreased obviously....
