Value Of Telomerase Activity Analyzed Of Exfoliated Cells In Peritoneal Lavage In Forecast Ovarian Cancer’s Recurrent

Objective:To analyzed telomerase activity of exfoliated cells in peritoneal lavage of the Ovarian cancer patients with treated and standard chemotherapied by silver-staining telomeric repeat amplification prcotocol. Investigase the value of telomerase activity analyzed in forecast treated and standard chemotherpied ovarian cancer’s recurrence.Methods:20samples of ovarian cancer patients’peritoneal lavage were obtained who were treated and standard chemotherapied.To analyzed telomerase activity of the exfoliated cells by silver-staining telomeric repeat amplification prcotocol and comparaed with the serum CA125level.Results:①20patients with epithelial ovarian cancer in the follow-up stage after standard operation and chemotherapy treatment whose serum CA125none were positive.Among the20cases of patients,12cases of patients whose telomerase activity of the peritoneal lavage fluid was positive (60%),the positive rate of telomerase activity of exfoliated cells of peritoneal lavage fluid in between20patients with epithelial ovarian cancer was significantly higher than the positive rate of their serum CA125(P<0.05)②Aong the12cases of patients,41.67%of patients whose telomerase activity of the peritoneal lavage fluid was positive in6months to9months after chemotherapy,58.33%of patients whose telomerase activity was positive in9months to12months after chemotherapy. There was no significant difference that the telomerase activity detection rate was between6months to9months after chemotherapy and9months to12months after chemotherapy (P0.05).③7cases of patients in stage I to stage II whose telomerase activity was positive accounted for28.57%,while13cases of patients in stage Ⅲwhose telomerase activity was positive accounted for76.92%. The detection rate of telomerase activity of stage Ⅲ patients were significantly higher than those patients of stage Ⅰ and Ⅱ (p<0.05)④Among the20patients,12cases of serous capsule adenocarcinoma patients whose telomerase activity was positive accounted for58.33%,3cases of mucous capsule adenocarcinoma patients whose telomerase activity was positive accounted for66.66%,5cases of ovarian endometrioid cancer whose telomerase activity was positive accounted for60%. The expression of telomerase activity in histologic types of ovarian epithelial cancer showed no significant difference (P>0.05).Conclusion:The telomerase activity of exfoliated cells in peritoneal lavage fluid may have a significant value in the prediction of the earlier recurrence of ovarian cancer patients,and the detection rate of telomerase activity was positively correlated with preoperative clinical stage of ovarian cancer patients.
