Objective:To investigate the relationship between Hct, ESR, Fg and cerebral infarction in60cases of patients with mild and severe traumatic brain injury, to lay the foundation for clinical treatment of TBI.Methods:Selected the hospital patients within24hrs after traumatic brain injury to study. These Patients were randomly divided into two groups (minor13-15score, severe3-8score) according to the initial Glasgow coma scale(GCS), each groups were30cases. Patients-peripheral blood were taken the first time within24hrs after TBI, then at3DPI(days post injury)、7DPI(days post injury). The number of Hct, ESR, Fg were examined and cranial CT examination at the same period. Comparative analysis of these hemorheological parameters changes in the patients. Results:The Hct, Fg and ESR in the peripheral blood of patients with severe traumatic brain injury was significantly higher compared with the minor group at the time of24hrs,3DPI(days post injury) and7DPI(days post injury)(P<0.05). In the severe and the mild group, at the3DPI(days post injury)the number of Hct, Fg and ESR in the peripheral blood was significantly more higher than within24hrs levels(P<0.05), the test results declined at the7DPI(days post injury) than at the3DPI(days post injury)(P<0.05). There are four cases of the test results of Hct lower than0.25in the severe traumatic brain injury group, five cases of the test results of Hct higher than0.45, and cranial CT examination at the same period results prompted associated with cerebral infarction in the injured area, and the brain tissue edema obviously.Conclusion:1. The Hct, ESR and Fg in the traumatic brain injury is significantly relevant to the severity of head injury.2. The posttraumatic cerebral infarction and cerebral edema are correlated with the changes of Hct, ESR and Fg.3. Dynamic monitoring the changes of Hct, ESR and Fg, especial to test the result of Hct, will contribute to guide clinical treatment and prevention cerebral infarction.
