A Relevance Study On Uterine Leiomyoma Between CYP1A1and SULT1A1Gene Polymorphism

Objective:To investigate the relevance of polymorphisms of CYP1A1and SULT1A1with the risk of uterine leiomyoma interaction in Northern QiLu, about Han people, in order to get the message of the mechanism about myomagenesis and herd suseptibility. It may buildup some clinical data on obviate and control of uterine leiomyoma.Methods:MspI genotypes of CYP1A1and Arg213His genotypes of SULT1A1gene were detected with the methods of PCR-RFLP a case-control study, including123cases of uterine leiomyoma and123cases as controls. Multivariate logistic regression analysis was used to estimate uterine leiomyoma risk associated with environmental exposures by genotypes.Results:(1) There was no significant correlation between uterine leiomyoma group and control group in Mspl polymorphism (P=0.927). Contrast with T/T genotype, T/C and C/C, the difference between the case and control group all were no significant (P=0.738, P=0.947, respectively). Contrast with T/T genotype, merging T/C and C/C, the difference between the case and control group was no significant (P=0.925).(2) The SULT1A1polymorphisms of Arg/Arg genotype、Arg/His genotype and His/His genotype in uterine leiomyoma group and control group were significant different (P=0.011); Compared with Arg/Arg genotype, the risk of Arg/His genotype and His/His both increased, discren2.321time and1.985time (P=0.003and P=0.468). The risk was significantly higher in uterine leiomyoma people with His allele (OR adjusted=2.296,95%CI1.325-3.978, P=0.003).(3) The interaction between CYP1A1gene of Mspl polymorphism and SULT1A1gene of Arg213His polymorphism in uterine leiomyoma group and control group were significant different were (p=0.024).Conclusions:(I) The results do not imply that CYP1A1polymorphism of Mspl is associated with susceptibility of uterine leiomyoma, in Northern QiLu, about Han people. (2) The results imply that SULT1A1polymorphism of Arg213His may be associated with increased uterine leiomyoma, in Northern QiLu, about Han people, and increases the risk of uterine leiomyoma.(3) The synergistic action was in happening of uterine leiomyoma between CYP1A1gene of MspⅠ polymorphism and SULT1A1gene of Arg213His polymorphism.
