| Neu-chang-chih has been applied at Taiwan area for more than200years as a private medicine. From the year of1990, the publication of join report-’GANODERMA COMPHORATUM, A NEW TAXON IN GENUS GANODERMA FROM TAIWAN, CHINA’by the famous fungi scholar of China and the Taipei Univerity’s scholar of Taiwan was presented to the world. But the research trend did not started from that time untill the year of2000.The precious and magic wild Neu-chang-chih is represented by it’s complicate composition and physiological active ingredient. By the modern technology of seperation and analysis, the composition of Neu-chang-chih included triterpenoids, polysaccharides, superoxide dismutasr adenosine, portein, vitamin, trace elements, nucleic acid, lectin, amino acid, ergosterol, and lignin. Especially, some of the research reports already proved that the triterpenoids could treat tumor in some way.Purpose and Meaning:The content of triterpenoids in Neu-chang-chih is more than ten times of Ganoderma. So most of the research thesis focus at the area of medical and health with the view of the western medicine. This research is based on the view of Traditional Chinese Medicine to explore the position of Neu-chang-chih at the Chinese Pharmacy and the reference data are from the thesis of Ph.D. or Master and also the interview data from visiting the professional experts, scholars and Chinese medicine doctors.Method:Through the literature collection of Neu-chang-chih, the first part of this thesis presented the development of Taiwan Neu-chang-chih and it’s pharmacology research. Then the following part is the Chinese Medicine function of Neu-chang-chih referring to’The Chinese Medicine Pharmacy’ published by the publishing house of Chinese Medicine and Drug. The last part is the research of Neu-chang-chih’s clinical prescription supported by the modified Defi method.Result:On the basis of the above-mentioned information, Neu-chang-chih could be classifed to the drug category of clear away heat and toxic material. It’s taste is acrid, bitter, and slightly sweet, so it is belong to the type of ’cold’ medicine. It’s attribute is at the Liver meridian, Gallbladder meridian, and Lung meridian. And it’s effect includes clearing away heat and toxic material, removing tumor and clearing away obstruction, soothing liver and removing heat, smoothing away the pain of pharynx, and eliminating blood stasis and killing pain. At the last, the modified Defi method was applied for probing the treatment of tumor disease under the situtation of taking Neu-chang-chih as the prime medicine treats the patient. Acording to the physique of patients, it is nice to know what kinds of medicine could be compatible to Neu-chang-chih in clinical treatment. The research revealed the following results:1. As the physique of patients is belong to the pattern of deficient Yin, the compatibility of medicine could be Maidong, Shashen, Huangqi, and Baihe.2. As the physique of patients is belong to the pattern of excessive Yin, the compatibility of medicine could be Danshen, Honghua, and Taoren.3. As the physique of patients is belong to the pattern of deficient Yang, the compatibility of medicine could be Huangqi and Baizhu.4. As the physique of patients is belong to the pattern of excessive Yang, the compatibility of medicine could be Jinyinhua, Banchilian, Baihuasheshecao, Lianqiao, Pugongying, Xiakucao, and Shengdihuang.5. As the physique of patients is belong to the mixed pattern of Yin and Yang, the compatibility of medicine could be Nuzhenzi.Conclusion:The application of Neu-chang-chih must be based on the foundation of Chinese Traditional Medicine and Drug. Let it to be developed as Taiwan distinguishing feature at the field of Chinese Traditional Medicine and Drug. In the long run, Neu-chang-chih will be applied for the medical and health protection purpose in the whole world. |
