ObjectiveThe application of ultrasonic two-dimensional speckle tracking (STI) fortype2diabetes in patients with left ventricular not yet appeared before thechange of heart function, left ventricular strain and left ventricular torsion angle,to evaluat the left ventricular systolic function.MethodsAmerican Philips IE33color Doppler ultrasound, were measured in40cases of type2diabetic patients (left ventricular ejection fraction≥50%),normal controls were40cases of each level of the left ventricular longitudinalstrain (GLs,) short axis of the level of radial strain (GRs), circumferential strain(GCs) and torsion angle peak (LVtw), and calculate the correlation of the indexand left ventricular ejection fraction.ResultsCompared with the control group, each level of the left ventricle of thediabetic group overall average longitudinal peak strain and left ventricularlongitudinal strain was significantly lower (P <0.01), left ventricular short axis toreduce the level of the average radial strain, but no significant difference (P>0.05); diabetic group by a circumference of the left ventricular circumferentialstrain and strain reduced (P <0.05); the level of left ventricular rotation and torsion angle increased (P <0.05); GLs, GRs, GCs and LVtw of two groupswere significantly correlated with LVEF, The control group GLs, GCs asindependent predictors of LVEF, the regression equation for the LVEF=29.81-1.5GLs-0.91GCs (P <0.01); diabetic GLs as independent predictors ofLVEF, the regression equation for the LVEF=31.83-2.72GLs (P <0.01).Conclusions1diabetic patients with early stage left ventricular systolic function of localchange.2Each level of diabetic patients with left ventricular longitudinal, circumferentialpeak strain than in the control group to reduce the overall vertical, the overallcircumferential strain than the control group to reduce left ventricular twist angleincreases3patients with diabetes longitudinal strain the greatest impact on left ventricularejection fraction.4STI provide a new sensitive indicator for the clinical assessment of diabeticpatients with left ventricular regional function and provide a more objective andaccurate information for the evaluation of patients with diabetes severity...
