The tick is the transmitting vector and reservoir host of some zoonosis.Rickettsiaspp., Borrelia burgdorferi, Coxiella burnitii and Bartonella sp. were found through the polymerase chain reaction(PCR) by detecting pathogens carried by ticks collected from Suifenhe, Mishan, Dongning, HuLin, Xunke, Heihe, Inner Mongolia grassland and Liaoning Chaoyang, in2009and2010. The sequencing based typing(SBT) was adopted in this research. The genotype of Borrelia burgdorferi belonged to B.g. And Rickettsia included spotted fever grouprickettsia and typhus group Rickettsiae.There were96samples from Heilongjiang in2009.The4samples of Borrelia burgdorferi carried by Ixodes persulcatus were positive with a rate of4.17%. There were15samples of Coxiella burnitii with a rate of15.6%, While34samples of Rickettsia found both in Ixodes persulcatus and Dermacentor silvarum were positive with a rate of35.52%. There were17of spotted fever group rickettsia (8of Rickettsia sibirica) and17of typhus group rickettsiae among the34samples.They were from the areas except Dongning. There were81of Ixodes persulcatus,52of Dermacentor silvarum and20of haemaphysalis from Heilongjiang in2010. The results of PCR found that3of Borrelia burgdorferi were positive with a rate of1.96%, and15of Coxiella burnitii with a rate of9.8%, while23of Rickettsia was positive with a rate of15.03%. There were19of spotted fever grouprickettsia and4of typhus group rickettsiae among the23samples.1of Bartonella which derived from Rickettsia were positive, and the rate was0.65%. The60samples from Inner Mongolia were hyalomma asiaticum kozlovi.5of Borrelia burgdorferi were positive with a rate of8.33%. While16of Rickettsia burneti and2of Rickettsia sibirica were positive, with26.67%and3.33%, respectively.2of Borrelia burgdorferi and9of Rickettsia burneti among the98samples from Chaoyang were positive. The rates were2.04%and9.18%.There was only1of Bartonella in2010. Therefore, security inspection between trade should be strengthen to prevent against the pathogen species introduced from abroad. Large-scale infected with Coxiella burnitii were found for the first time in Northeast China. So it was important to eliminate the false positive results verified by southern blot hybridization as much as possible. The results of southern blot hybridization showed that a lot of Coxiella burnitii was carried by ticks, which had sounded the alarm.Established RT-PCR of Rift Valley fever virus was a good sensitivity and high specificity. The sensiti-vity was37db/μL, and the rvalue of specific verified was0.997.With the monitoring investigation of the diversity of pathogens and the establishment of the rapid detection method, this research made contribution to public health security of the border area of China. People could make preparation for prevention by understanding the diversity of pathogens. It is of significance for protecting the human life and property security.
