Use of artificial methods to simulate the digestive process of rumen is artificial simulation rumen.Stock raising supplied the great mass of protein for human society.Most animals can not digest the crude fiber that contains plenty of cell wall and the non protein nitrogen of compound but ruminant can.It is used to sustain life and provide of resources for human.Such as skin,hair,meat,milk,and so on.So many Major in Animal Nutritionist,zoochemistrist and microbiologist attach importance to research on manual simulation of rumen.The dual flow continuous culture automation system of rumen is an advanced simulator for Major in Animal Nutrition of rumen.It should simulated more accurate for chemical change of zymolysis and microbe change in rumen with the progress of science and technology.Provide the most appropriate growing environment for microbe that consist in analog device not only dynamic simulation but also control the variance of physical change and chemical change.The dual flow continuous culture automation system of rumen is a high and new technology that contains all kinds of technology.It consist of ordinary mechanical part,gearing,Single Chip,stepper motor,system of autocontrol and temperature-control system.It maximized the reduction of the negative factors of the external environment and replace the traditional methods of in vivo extract.So it increased the yield and quality of the microbial substantially and reduce the cost.System of Simulate Rumen includes single flow continuous culture automation system and dual flow continuous culture automation system.Single flow means the liquid and solid phase outflow by a same rate and dual flow means the liquid and solid phase outflow by different rate.Actually,the out flow rate of the liquid and solid phase is different so the dual flow continuous culture automation system is closer to practical situation in vivo.In this paper,it designed spare part of mechanical drive and gearing chain and so on that adopted principium of machine design.Choose the most appropriate structural model, single-chip, stepper motor,impulse circuiv and automatic program control and so on,accordingly simulated the physiological environment of rumen and simulated peristalsis of rumen,thereby simulate the chemical change of rumen.Experimental results compare to the results of in vivo verified this experimental installation is feasible and veraciously.The results of this paper show that the dual flow continuous culture automation system of rumen could be used as the ideal model of study on the physiology of rumen,micro-bio-chemistry,microbiology and animal nutrition.It is preferable to the system of single flow and system of batch culture.
