Objective: Study of phase contrast cine magnetic resonance technology in thecardiovascular system diseases application possibilities to make a deep understandingof its clinical application. Methods: Put PC cine MRI scanning on26normal people’s artery of all ages(3group),31normal people’s pulmonary artery and28cases of patients withcardiovascular disease. Compare aortic PWV value of all ages. Analyze flowinformation of pulmonary artery of normal group and patients with pulmonary arteryhypertension and find out the differences. Observe and analyze the PC Cine MRIcurve of every cardiovascular disease. Use retrospective ECG gating and respiratorygating in PC Cine MRI technique. Its parameters: TR6.5ms, TE3.4ms, flip angle of20°,echo chain length1, thickness5mm,spacing0mm,matrix layer spacing224x128,setting30phase in one heartbeat cycle, velocity encoded values according to differentcircumstances, following the principle of as close as possible to the real speed valuebut avoiding the phase confusing. In plane PC Cine MRI sequence is positionedparallel to the target location, the image can observe the abnormal blood flowinformation; through plane PC Cine MRI sequence vertical target location, its imagesis for blood flow quantitative analysis. Results: In three healthy group, PWV values were3.28±0.69m/s,5.13±1.44m/s,8.20±1.84m/s, there were significant differences between each other, so the PWV ofaortic arch can be used to determine aortic physiological age, thus the diagnosis, monitoring and evaluation of subclinical hypertension where syndrome in a patientwith aortic compliance decreasing is in progress is possible. The t test’s p value of PAAT,PAAT/ET is less than0.05between the control group and the pulmonaryhypertension group, there are significant differences between the two group, while thetotal ejection time and maximum speed have no statistically significant between thetwo group. The PAAT and mPAP of pulmonary hypertension patients has a linearcorrelation, the regression equation is: y=79-0.23x. PC Cine MRI curves of othercardiovascular diseases have its corresponding waveform features. Conclusion: PC cine MRI measures the PWV value of aortic arch, which can assesscompliance of artery. So the PWV of aortic arch can diagnose subclinicalhypertension, monitoring the treatment of hypertension and Marfan’s syndrome. PCCine MRI can distinguish true lumen from false lumen in aortic dissection. Observingits blood flow and area change can predict the probability of progression to judgestability of aortic dissection. PC Cine MRI provides the PAAT of pulmonary artery. Ithas certain correlations with mPAP in patient with pulmonary artery hypertension. Bythe regression equation, it can somewhat quantify the pressure of pulmonary artery inPAH patients. Therefore, it can detect whether the patient has pulmonary arterialhypertension in high-risk population non-invasively, without radiation screening. Forpatients with congenital heart disease, PC Cine MRI provides hemodynamicsinformation preoperative and postoperative which can provide effective informationfor clinical doctor. The application of PC Cine MRI in valval disease is assessingstenosis severity of valve or (and) the regurgitant fraction. Information that providedreliable can help patients to make treatment plan. PC Cine MRI assessment ofhypertrophic cardiomyopathy patients is to determine whether it is obstructive or not.Assess the degree of obstruction and detect treatment effect. The application of PCCine MRI on patient with suspicion of nutcracker syndrome can directly measuremany parameters to help diagnose, noninvasive. In short, PC cine MRI can providehemodynamics information noninvasive, rapidly, accurately, repeatedly, so it is a goodmethod to diagnose, monitor and assess cardiovascular diseases.
