[Objective]To explore the effect of the music relaxation therapy on anxiety and adverse reaction of the liver cancer patient after transcatheter arterial chemoembolization, so as to provide a theoretical basis for the application of valid nursing in recovery of liver cancer patients post transcatheter arterial chemoembolization.[Methods]On the principle of convenience sampling,110liver cancer patients were randomly divided into two groups:music intervention group (n=55) and control group (n=55). There were no statistic differences in age, gender, marriage, faith, employment, income, hospitalization insurance, size and number of the cancer, operation time(P>0.05). After obtaining ethical approval, those in the intervention group received music relaxation therapy in addition routine care, while the control group received routine care only. The music relaxation therapy consisted of music therapy, progressive muscle relaxation and guided inner image. Then all cases were evaluated by Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) and State Anxiety Inventory (S-AI). The nausea and vomiting times and the use amount of antiemetic and anodyne were recorded. SPSS17.0software was used for statistical analysis, P<0.05were considered significant. The statistic methods used in this research including:t-test, Chi-square test, repeated measures analysis of variance.[Results]There were no significant differences in the VAS score on2h after operation (P>0.05);But patients in experimental group had less pain than those in control group on Id,2d,3d,4d after operation, there were significant differences of the scores of pain (P<0.01). The pain scores of the two groups decreased obviously, and the music therapy group is superior to the control group (P<0.01). The nausea and vomiting times and the amount of antiemetic and anodyne of the intervention group were lower than the control group (P<0.01). The S-AI score on4d after operation of the intervention group was lower than that of control group (K0.05). The S-AI scores on4d after operation were obviously lower than2h in the intervention group (P<0.05). But there were no statistical significant differences between the S-AI score on2h and4d in the control group (P>0.05).[Conclusions]The music relaxation therapy can obviously mitigate the adverse reaction after transcatheter arterial chemoembolization, reduce the use amount of drug, and promote recovery after operation. This measure can also decrease anxiety, harmonize nurse-patient relationship and build up favorable relation of nurse and patients. |
