Objectives:Collecting and organizeing Xinjiang characteristics plant resources offood use along with drugs, the use of IT and Web technologies to establish searchingplatform of the Xinjiang plant resources characteristics of food used along with medicine,designed to achieve the efficient storage of plant resources, to facilitate the users to searchplant resource information of food used along with medicine, to facilitate thedissemination and use. Methods:In the Windows XP system environment, using object-oriented analysis and design methods, using the unified modeling language (UML) toestablish the model structure of the search platform. On the basis of the model framework,using Microsoft Visual Studio.NET2005as a development tool,C#as the primarydevelopment language, Microsoft SQL Serve2005as a back-end database,using ASP.NETand ADO.NET database access technology,BLOB Image stored in the database, userinformation using two-way data encryption algorithm, using precise, fuzzy, complexretrieval techniques. Results:Based on the design of these technologies, retrieve platformbased on B/S mode Xinjiang characteristics plant resources of food used along withmedicine is developed for users to browse and query information. The main modulesinclude: plant resources information management, classification management of plantresources, user information management, plant information retrieval, bulletin management,comments management, system maintenance management. Dynamic database technologyenables the platform with real-time update feature.Conclusion: The successfullydeveloped project,it builds a good search platform for various types of user the retrievalplant resources of information of Xinjiang characteristics of food used along withmedicine.Using Internet technology to achieve effective dissemination of information andupdated in real time, greatly improving the work efficiency of retrieve plant resources offood used along with drug, it has achieved the desired effection.
