Objective: To investigate the effects of the Anodyne Therapy and α-lipoic acid ondiabetic peripheral neuropathy. Methods:120patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathywere randomly divided into four groups, given group A(30cases) the conventionallowering blood-glucose and vasodilator therapy, other three groups were given differenttreatment on the basis of group A, Group B (30cases) daily used Anodyne Therapy30minutes for7days; Group C (30cases) were treated with α-lipoic acid600mg dailyintravenously guttae for7days; Group D (30cases) at the same time given both B and Ctreatment for7days. Before and after treatment checked10g monofilament examinations、temperature sensibility、vibration sensation、MNSI score and TSS score to evaluate thetherapeutic effect. Results: There is statistic differences in10g monofilamentexaminations, temperature sensibility、vibration sensation and TSS score before and aftertreatment of B、C、D group (P<0.05), MNSI score in each group is no significantdifference (P>0.05). Except MNSI score, other indicators were different between group Aand B、C、D(P<0.05), compared group B、C、D, there are no statistic differencesbetween the three groups in10g monofilament examinations、temperature sensibility andvibration sensation (P>0.05). Between the group B and D、group C and D, the TSS scoreis significant difference (P<0.05), but there is no statistical difference between Group Band C(P>0.05). The TSS score in group D has the maximum difference(2.73±1.28).Conclusion: The Anodyne Therapy and the α-lipoic acid are effective treatment fordiabetic peripheral neuropathy, and combination therapy can effectively improve thesymptoms of DPN patients. |
