Objective: To Know Month sister-in-law working status and the maternal and childhealth. Discussion of influencing factors about status of Month sister-in-law practitionerson maternal and child health. Problems and suggestions of status of Month sister-in-lawpractitioners. Methods: Using convenience sampling method to extract six hospital′smaternal, newborn, and the months to conduct a questionnaire survey. Results:(1)Monthsister-in-law with an average age of44years,49.5%is a junior high school education,96%fertility; time within3years of the78.7%industry;87.9%training time is less than3months;54.5%woman trained in non-month;79.8%no training certificate;79.8%isrecommended by the woman body non-month of employment.(2)The two group maternalbaseline differences wsa not statistics significance (P>0.05), the comparison differences ofphysical and mental health has statistics significance of production injury recovery speed,hang-over situation (hang-over color, and hang-over smell, and hang-over time), sufferingfrom mastitis situation, the sleep situation, anxiety and depression(p<0.05).the comparisondifferences of two group newborn health has statistics significance of height weight,feeding way, sick situation and accident hurt (p<0.05).(3)Impact maternal birth traumarecovery, incidence of mammary gland inflammation, SDS and SAS employees in theMonth her sister-in-law is the curriculum time, working time and training (P<0.05);impact neonatal illness, accidental injury and feeding patterns were growth situation,training-path, training-time and education (p<0.05).(4)Satisfaction survey: maternal satisfaction with the Month sister-in-law was lower and very dissatisfied was14.4%,80%mothers think that month her sister-in-law of services was general. Conclusions:(1)Thereare many problems in Urumqi Month sister-in-law practitioners.(2)Month sister-in-lawaccompanying contribute to maternal birth trauma recovery and discharge of lochia, tohelp reduce post-partum anxiety and depression levels; mastitis occurred and sleep have anegative impact.(3)Month sister-in-law accompanying promote neonatal height andweight growth and the rate of breastfeeding, to reduce the prevalence of certain diseasesand the incidence of accidental injury, but a higher incidence of pneumonia and choking.(4) Month sister-in-law business factors of influnce the mothes physica and psychologicaland health of the newborn were maternal educational level, fertility status, practitionerstime, training time, training approach and curriculum.
