Objective: Relevant research between GOLD graduation and CAT grading ofpatients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Methods: Choose patients with acutechronic obstructive pulmonary disease in hospital in Respiratory medicine in the XinjiangUygur Autonomous Region People’s Hospital, using the CAT Chinese version to thepatient quality of life, at the same time determining the lung function with the same lungfunction instrument. Carries on the graduation according to a CAT grading minute valueto patient’s quality of life, simultaneously carries on the GOLD graduation according tothe FEV1occupies the predicted value%after bronchiectasis experiment, then comparedeach other and analysis the result. Results: In80patients with COPD,71examples aremale,9examples are female, their age are50-84years old and their average age are(65±10) years old.The CAT total score value scope is5-39points,“the marginal effect” is9examples,“the medium influence” is33examples,“the serious influence” is29examples,“the very serious influence” is9examples; GOLD graduation Level Ⅰis10examples, Level Ⅱis22examples, Level Ⅲ is33examples, Level Ⅳ is15examples.CAT score varied significantly along with the patients’ condition, analyzing thecorrelation between the CAT grading and the GOLD graduation, the correlationcoefficient is0.59, P﹤0.01, which has statistics significance, explained that the CATgrading and the GOLD graduation have the relevance. But a part of patient’s CAT gradingand the GOLD graduation has not parallel. Conclusion: The CAT grading and the GOLDgraduation existence high relevance in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonarydisease.
