The Clinical Research On Herbal Internal And Epiduaral Injection With Hyaluronic Acid Sodium Combine Medication For Lumbar Disc Hemiation

Objective:Observing and analyzing herbal internal and hyaluronic acid sodium epidural injection combine medication for lumber disc herniation treatment, to evaluate its efficacy.Methods:Collecting148patients according to inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria, the male87cases, female61cases, aged32years old to76years old, with an average44.6years old, six weeks to19years for the course of disease. According to the principle of random control group, they are divided into categories A, B, and C.Group A,41cases, Epidural injection with hyaluronic acid sodium;Group B,58cases, Herbal internal;Group C,49cases, Epidural injection with hyaluronic acid sodium+Herbal internalTwo weeks for a period of treatment, and three periods for a treatment cycle. Taking records of observation with clinical symptoms and pain scores after each period of treatment, and follow up one month, to observe, record, and analyze the changes of clinical symptoms, pain scores, and the data which we take from observing and recording with T-test and chi-square test. The statistical software is SPSS16.0.Results:Based on improved Macnab curative effect evaluation standards and simplified McGill scale of quantitative evaluation score converted to improvement rate of pain, to make a comprehensive assessment of treatment effect.If the pain disappeared, no movement disorders, resume normal work and activities, and the improvement rate of pain above90%, we considered it’s clinical best (Group A11cases, Group B15cases, and Group C17cases);If the pain happens occasionally, but still can work, and the improvement rate is80%to90%, we considered it’s clinical fine (Group A13cases, Group B18cases, and Group C16cases);If there is some improvement, but still a pain, the patient can’t go work, and the improvement rate is70%to80%, we considered it’s clinical improvement (Group A11cases, Group B13cases, and Group C12cases);If there is performance of nerve root compression, have to further surgery, and the improvement rate less than70%, we considered it’s clinical invalid (Group A6cases, Group B12cases, and Group C4cases)The VAS score and the improvement rate of the treatment group A were higher than the control group B and the control group C (P <0.05).Conclusion:To comprehensively analyze the observable data, we can considered that herbal internal and hyaluronic acid sodium epidural injection combine medication for lumbar disc herniation treatment is safe and effective. Its clinical curative effect is better than herbal internal or epidural injection used alone, because the difference of inter group comparison has statistics significance (P<0.05). The possible mechanism of combine medication is that the hyaluronic acid sodium can eliminated nerve root inflammation, at the same time the herbal internal can improve patient constitution radically. Therefore we can improve symptoms, alleviating pain, and improve the quality of life of the patients at the same time, eliminate internal cause of the lumbar disc herniation fundamentally.
