Objective:To investigate the function of the CXCL12(SDF-1) on the remodeling of the pulmonary vascular in the congenital heart defect with pulmonary hypertension.Method:This study is consist of three groups, including the normal group(for n=20), congenital heart defect with normal pulmonary pressure(for n=60),and the congenital heart defects with pulmonary hypertension (for n=60),(in total140patients). ELISA was adopted to investigate the quality of the CXCL12in this3groups. At the same time we collected36pulmonary tissue specimen among the120congenital heart defects patients and adopted Western blot to analyse the expression of CXCL12protein. All the data was analyzed by the Soft SPSS17.0.Result:In our study we found that the results of ELISA show that the level of CXCL12in the group of congenital heart defect is higher than the group of normal children(two group t-test, P<0.05); and the level in patients who have congenital heart defect with pulmonary hypertension is higher than the group without pulmonary hypertension. In the group of congenital heart defect with pulmonary hypertension, with the increase of pulmonary artery pressure, the level of CXCL12become higher. The results of Western bolt show that the expression of CXCL12in the group of patients who have congenital heart defect with pulmonary hypertension is higher than the group without pulmonary hypertension; patients who have congenital heart defect with pulmonary hypertension, the pressure of pulmonary artery is higher, the expression of CXCL12is more obvious. Conclusion:stromal cell-derived factor (CXCL12) play an role in vascular remodeling of the pulmonary artery in congenital heart disease with pulmonary hypertension.
