Objective:To detect the expressive Levels of NT5E and FcGBP and their effect on pancreatic cancer and noncancerous pancreatic tissues of SD ratMethod:The membrane of rat panereas was opened to implant a high dose (9mg) of DMBA in group A and group B rats, and then the incision was closed with interrupted suture. The rats of group B was then treated with5ml ECP solution(0.4g/ml) via ip weekly. The pancreas and other organs of extra-pancreas of rats sacrificed within3-5months were studied by macrograph and under microscopy via hematoxylin-eosin staining. The En VisionTM immunohitochemistry was used for assaying the expressive levels of NT5E and FcGBP in conventional Paraffin-embedde sections from above Pancreatic specimens.Result:(1)The Prevalence of Pancreatic cancer among rats of group A was48.6%,pathological types including17cases with pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma and1case with fibrosarcoma. The prevalence of pancreatic cancer among rats of group B was37.1%(13/35),pathological types including13cases with pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma. The maximal diameter of tumor mass in group A was larger than that in group B(P<0.05).(2)The positive rates of NT5E was higher in Pancreatic ductal arcinoma of group A+group B than those in non-cancerous pancreatic tissues of group A+group B(P<0.05).The positive rates of NT5E was higher in pancreatic cancer of group A or group B than those innon-cancerous tissues corresponding group A or group B(P>0.05).No positive case of NT5E was found in the pancreatic tissues of group C.(3) The positive rates of NT5E was lower in Pancreatic ductal carcinoma of group A+group B than those in non-cancerous pancreatic tissues of group A+group B(P<0.05).The positive rates of NT5E was lower in pancreatic cancer of group A or group B than those innon-cancerous tissues corresponding group A or group B(P>0.05).No negative case of FcGBP was found in the pancreatic tissues of group C.Conclusions:DMBA implanted into the parenchyma of pancreas can obtain an ideal pancreatic cancer model with high incidence.ECP may have an inhibitive effect on the carcinogenesis in rat pancreas.NT5E and FcGBP might have important effects on the carcinogenesis in rat pancreas.
