ObjectiveTo study the expressions of hypoxia-inducible factor-la and TNF related apoptosis inducing lignad receptor in laryngeal carcinoma tissue and their clinical significanceMethodThe SP immunohistochemisty method was used to investigate the expression of HIF-1α mRNA and TRAIL-DR4mRNA in42Laryngeal cancer. In clinical stage,we take stage I/II as one group and stage III/IV as other group,then compare this two group. In pahtologic,we take well-differentiated squamous cell carcinoma as one group and poor-differentiated SqCa as other group,then compare this two group. Age of patient, the lymph node metastasis, and the metastasis will be compared as independent factor. Five-years controled group will be compared with uncontrolled group in prognosis. All positive rate will be X2test or Fisher’s exact probability.ResultWithin the laryngeal carcinoma tissue42patients The expression rate of HIF-lamRNA was59.5%,THe expression of HIF-la mRNA in Ⅰ/Ⅱ tumors was significantly lower than that ofⅢ/IVtumors express (x2=7.18, P=0.007<0.05), and with reduceded of the tissue differentiation, HIF-la mRNA expression is enhanced (x2=6.18, P=0.013<0.05), For the prognosis,the expression of the HIF-la mRNA of the control group patients was significantly higher than that of uncontrol group in5years (X2=10.03, P=0.002<0.05);(2) the expression of the positive rate of TRAIL-DR4mRNA was59.8%.The expression of DR4mRNA in Ⅰ/Ⅱ was significantly higher than that of express inⅢ/Ⅳ (x2=7.08, P=0.008<0.05), The expression in differentiated laryngeal cancer was significantly higher than that in poorly differentiated carcinomas (x2=15.36, P=0.000<0.05), For the prognosis, The positive expression of the control group was significantly lower than the uncontrol group in5years (x2=10.97, P=0.001<0.05), with statistical significance (3) The expression of DR4mRNA is unrelated with the age of patient, the lymph node metastasis and the distant metastasis (p>0.05).(4) There was negative correlation between the expression of HIF-lamRNA and TARIL-DR4mRNA in laryngeal carcinoma (rs=-0.453, P<0.05).Conclusions1The expression of HIF-1αmRNA elevated as the pahtologic grade decreased and clinical stage increased. The expression of TARIL-DR4mRNA decreased as he pahtologic grade decreased and clinical stage increased.2. The positive expression rate of HIF-lamRNA was obviously lower in five-years controled group then in uncontrolled group. The positive expression rate of TARIL-DR4mRNA was obviously higher in five-years controled group then in uncontrolled group.3. The expression of HIF-1αmRNA and TARIL-DR4mRNA in tissues of laryngeal carcinoma has negative correlation with each other.
