To observe the analysis of Henoch-Schonlein purpura in children of tongue characteristics, and the relationship between tongue characteristics and syndrome differentiation, to provide evidence for the clinical diagnosis therapy. Methods: Children with Henoch-Schonlein purpura were divided into the skin type, joint type, abdominal type and kidney type. Syndrome and tongue characteristics of110cases of allergic purpura in children were observed, then the data were put into statistical analysis in order to summarize the rules. Results:1, Differentiations among allergic purpura syndrome were mainly in bleeding due to blood-heat syndrome except kidney type. The rate of renal purpura of children with syndrome of qi failing to control blood (28.6%) were more than the other three types, which had statistical significance (P<0.05).. The occurrence rate of damp heat blockage in abdominal type, for n=8,19%, were higher than three other groups (P>0.05);2, Children with Henoch-Schonlein purpura were mainly in bright red tongue except kidney type, and there were significant differences bwtween the four groups (P<0.05). Kidney type were mainly in light red tongue and pale tongue, of which pale tongue vs three other groups (P<0.05). Others such as dark red tongue and spotted tougue were visible in all four groups, and there were no significant difference between the four groups (P>0.05);3, Tongue shape of children with anaphylactoid purpura had tender tongue the most, followed by tooth marked tongue, thin tongue and cracked tongue; Plump tongue, Teeth-Printed tongue and thin tongue, in the four group had significant difference (P<0.05). Abdominal type had mainly in plump tongue and Teeth-Printed tongue, and kidney type had mainly in thin tongue and Teeth-Printed tongue;4, Children with Henoch-Schonlein purpura had thick fur more than thin moss; Kidney type had mainly in moist coating (42.9%), the other three were main in dry coating (P<0.05), The fur color were light yellow moss the most, accounting for47.2%, followed by white tongue coating, deep yellow moss. In the kidney type white moss was47.6%, slightly more than the pale yellow moss (42.9%). Conclusion:1, Dhildren with Henoch-Schonlein purpura (except for the renal type) syndrome differentiation were mainly common in bleeding due to blood-heat syndrome, and renal purpura in children with gas not oxygen blood type is more common;2, The color of the tongue (except renal type) were mainly in red tongue, but kidney type were mainly in pink tongue and pale tongue;3, The tongue shap of patient were tender tongue the most, followed by tooth marked tongue, thin and emaciated and fissured tongue;4, Children with Henoch-Schonlein purpura had thick fur more than thin moss; Kidney type had mainly in moist coating, the other three were main in dry coating, The fur color were light yellow moss the most, followed by white tongue coating, deep yellow moss. It was prompted that the pathogenesis of allergic purpura is wind, hot, wet, deficiency, stasis, and kidney type is deficiency, wet and stasis.
