Objective To study the inhibitory effects and mechanisms of ursolicacidphospholipids nanoparticles(UA-PL-NP) on human gastric carcinoma cell lineSGC-7901in vitro. Methods SGC-7901cells were cultured in vitro, the effect of UA-PL-NP on theproliferation of SGC-7901cells were observed by MTT assay. After SGC-7901cellswere treated by50%inhibitory concentration(IC50) of UA-PL-NP for72hours,morphological changes were observed by inverted microscope;the expression ofCaspase-3protein was detected by immunocytochemical staining.Results0.01~10.0mg/L UA-PL-NP could inhibit the proliferation of SGC-7901cellsin a dosage and time-dependent manner, the IC50value of UA-PL-NP for SGC-7901cells for24、48、72hours was8.06、5.17、3.73mg/l respectively.SGC-7901cellspresented typical morphological feature of apoptosis after exposure to UA-PL-NP for72hours.UA-PL-NP up-regulated Caspase-3protein expression in SGC-7901.Conclusion UA-PL-NP could inhibit the proliferation of SGC-7901cells,which maybe caused by the up-regulated expression of Caspase-3protein.
