Chronic kidney disease in the ESRD needs renal replacement therapy. In recent years, with the increased incidence of chronic kidney disease, the number of ESRD patients worldwide is also increasing. With the advance of urban health insurance and new rural cooperative medical insurance, hemodialysis is one of the primary means of renal replacement therapy. The number of patients who are receiving hemodialysis treatment is increasing. In order to better meet the needs of patients, the number of hospital who carry out the hemodialysis treatment and the size of each hospital hemodialysis center are expanding.Hemodialysis treatment requires a professional team composed of doctors, nurses, engineers. Hemodialysis centers need to be equipped with reverse osmosis water machine, dialyzer reuse, and a lot of hemodialysis machines. Doctors and nurses operate the standard practices in accordance with the Blood Purification Standard Operating Procedure. The doctor is responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The nurse is responsible for the implementation of the dialysis operation. The engineer is responsible for the maintenance and operation of the equipment.Hemodialysis patients are different from the outpatients and inpatients. They take a long time repeated treatment. Documents that need to be recorded in the hemodialysis center are different. And the number is very large. Over the years, the data record has been stuck on the manual records. This has led to low efficiency and error-prone.With the development of computer technology, the hospital information system (HIS) has entered into all aspects of the hospital. Software system for medical devices are also increasing, But the information platform for the management of hemodialysis is still very rare. The main topic was completed and implemented information technology transformation of the hemodialysis center. The system was developed on the basis of field survey work of Liaocheng People’s Hospital dialysis center. And the system is divided into different functional modules to meet the needs of the medical staff. Through the information platform, doctors can achieve the creation and management of patients, processing orders and the development of the dialysis program. Nurses can view patient information and doctors’ orders and perform a clinical monitoring records patient signs data and status data of dialysis machines. Engineers can effectively manage the device of the hemodialysis center. Through serial communication, the system can focus on the monitor to display the various parameters of the hemodialysis equipment and store records to the nurse module. In addition, the system also implements the management hemodialysis Center supplies and department staff.The system is based on object-oriented C#language. According to the information platform architecture, the system has completed the design and development of various functional modules in Visual Studio2008and SQL Server2005environment. The system uses technologies such as ASP.NET, ADO.NET and the database. Finally, a running instance of the system verified the feasibility and effectiveness of the information platform of hemodialysis.Finally, the paper summarizes the design and implementation of the hemodialysis information platform, and the next step in the direction.
