Objective Establish to ovarian rats osteoporosis animal model, to observe the influence of QiangGu capsules on the serum osteoprotegerin (OPG), nuclear factor-κ β receptor activated factor ligands (receptor activator of nuclear factor-kappa (3ligand, RANKL), estrogen level, shin bone mineral density (BMD)and dry the biomechanics.Methods Three months of48Sprague-Daw(SD) female rats according to the proportion of1:3randomly divided into blank group and operation model group. The operation model group preparation become castration rat model,3months after the operation model rats will further randomly divided into three groups(each group o12):the QiangGu capsule group, Neil female alcohol group, the model control group, Neil female QiangGu alcohol, distilled water to fill the stomach3months:A group-to ovarian+QiangGu capsule (0.108g· kg-1d.-1) group, and group B-to ovarian+Neil female alcohol group (0.001g· kg-1w.-1), C-to ovarian+distilled water (4mL· kg-1d.-1), d group-only to be distilled water fill blank group stomach (distilled water4mL· kg-1d.-1). In the three months after blank group and operation model executed rats, take rats bilateral tibia and blood samples, and observe the changes of the treatment of the tibia BMD, serum OPG、RANKL content, estrogen level, biomechanics before and after treatment.Results The results showes that the surgical model group has significantly decreased compared with the blank group in bone mineral density after3months (P<0.05);And then after3months treatment, QiangGu capsule group and nilestriol group of rat tibial bone mineral densityand have a vary degrees improved; and the expression of RANKL in the serum decreased, whenever the expression of OPG increased when compared with the model group; there was no significant difference between QiangGu capsule group and nilestriol in rats tibia BMD, serum OPG、RANKL content (P>0.05); The level of RANKL were negative correlated with BMD, however, The level of OPG were positive correlated with BMD。 Conclusion QiangGu capsule on cell factors shaft OPG/RANKL/RANK system has the adjustment function, can effectively improve to ovarian rats tibia bone mineral density, raise to ovarian rats serum OPG content, lower to ovarian rats RANKL serum concentration, at the same time, improve the tibia biomechanical performance.
