Influence Of Accommodation And AC/A Ratio For Two Kinds Of Refractive Correction Of Teenagers Myopia

Purpose To observe the changes of amplitude of accommodation and AC/A ratio forteenagers myopia that wearing frame glasses or orthokeratology within one year,andcombined with the changes of UCVA and SE,further defined the efficacy and safety oforthokeratology control the development of teen-agers myopia.Methods According to the different refractive correction,90teenagers patients176eyes with myopia were divided into the first wearing frame glasses group (groupA),always wearing frame glasses instead to orthokeratology group (group B),the firstwearing orthokeratology group (group C),and observe the changes of UCVA、SE、AMP of monocular accommodation and the AC/A ratio before the refractive correctionand after.Reasults1、UCVA: The UCVA of wearing frame glasses declined gradually (P <0.05), instead to orthokeratology group (group B) and the first wearing orthokeratologygroup(group C)’s UCVA rised gradually(P<0.05), and then there is no statisticallydifference between the group B and C(P﹥0.05).2、SE: The SE of wearing frame glassesincreased(P<0.05), instead to orthokeratology group (group B) and the first wearingorthokeratology group(group C)’s SE dropped gradually(P<0.05), and then there is nostatistically difference between the group B and C(P﹥0.05).3、AMP of monocularaccommodation: The AMP of wearing frame glasses declined gradually (P<0.05), insteadto orthokeratology group (group B) and the first wearing orthokeratology group(groupC)’s UCVA rised slowly(P<0.05), and then there is no statistically difference between thegroup B and C(P﹥0.05).4、AC/A ratio:The AC/A ratio of wearing frame glassesincreased(P<0.05), instead to orthokeratology group (group B) and the first wearingorthokeratology group(group C)’s SE dropped gradually(P<0.05), and then there is nostatistically difference between the group B and C(P﹥0.05). Conclusion1、The orthokeratology can better control the faster progress of teenagersmyopia,and can increase the eye adjustment function of myopia, reduce the high AC/Aratio,and make the accommodation and convergence to balance gradually.2、Theorthokeratology has obvious effect on treatment of teenages myopia,and the short-termeffect of treatment in teenager myopia was reliable and with little side effect.
