The Research In Chai Hou Lao Fu Theory From <Shang-Han Lun> For Syndrome Differentiation Treatment In The Child Chronic Coughing

Objective:To examine the clinical significance of the study on the Chai Hou Lao Fu theory from <Shang-Han Lun> for instructing the syndrome differentiation treatment of child chronic coughing based on the summary of <Shang-Han Lun>, as well as to suggest the probability of a different approach for the purpose of enhancing the therapeutic effect of child chronic coughing treatment.Method:Through the systematic analysis of literature research on both the western and the traditional Chinese medicine theories regarding the up-to-date knowledge and obstacles of child chronic coughing treatment in addition to the induction of <Shang-Han Lun> and the precedent TCM studies related to the Chai Hou Lao Fu theory, our research speculates its relativity with the pathogenesis, the diagnosis, the syndrome differentiating treatment and the rehabilitation of child chronic coughing. In an attempt to expatiate the clinical application regularity of the theory about Chai Hou Lao Fu theory from <Shang-Han Lun> for guiding the syndrome differentiation treatment of child chronic coughing, the hypothesis is medically testified in tenns of analyzing clinical cases conducted by Professor Zhou Chun Xiang.Result:Based on the reference to <Shang-Han Lun>, the conduction of retrospective study about Chai Hou Lao Fu theory to analyze the chronic child coughing related characteristic symptoms has revealed that the contributing factors, the syndrome differentiation treatment as well as the routine recuperation is highly correlated with the clinical application of Chai Hou Lao Fu theory which has an instructive significance on expediting and reinforcing the therapeutic effects and also preventing of the recurrence of the symptoms. The clinical cases treated by Professor Zhou who applied the principles of Chai Hou Lao Fu from <Shang-Han Lun> during the process of medication, has obtained a total efficacy rate of92.86percent. This study result indicates a high correlation regarding the etiology, the syndrome differentiation treatment and the recuperation between child chronic coughing and Chai Hou Lao Fu theory from <Shang-Han Lun>. Therefore, we are able to summarize the pattern of initiation and development of child chronic coughing hence suggesting a more effective dialectic for diagnose and cure the ailment.Conclusion:Our research demonstrates that the significance of Chai Hou Lao Fu theory proposed by <Shang-Han Lun> is prominent during syndrome differentially treating child chronic coughing as the interrogation between the two allows a comprehensive dialectic understanding and diagnosis of child chronic coughing in aspects such as etiology, diagnosis and recuperation. When based on the application of Chai Hou Lao Fu theory from <Shang-Han Lun> provides not only a holistic analysis on the child chronic coughing but also a new approach and research method for future researchers to ponder on.
