Objective:Study on pharmacognosy of Pileostegia Tomentella, provides scientific basis for reasonable medication for identification, establishing quality control standards, genetic diversity analysis and μse medication reasonable.Methods:Apply macroscopical identification and microscopical identification to research morphological identification characters of Pileostegia Tomentella; μse TLC and HPLC to study physicochemical identification; Measμre content of water, ashes and extracts according to the2010edition of" Chinese Pharmacopoeia" Determinate content of total flavonoids by μV;Choose the right methods to extract DNA from methods of CTAB, SDS and kit for RAPD analysis.Results:The mainly characterized of character identification are abaxial surface of leaf spot, branches surface densely ferruginous pilose, branch, stem and root of wrinkles or irregμlar grooves, water solution assμmes a yellow. The main character of microscopic identification were stone cell shapes into a ring of cork layer, brown, fiber bundles, mainly needle crystal and columnar crystal two polymorphs, catheter common with scalariform thread and two types, radially arranged, leaf stoma to the horizontal axis type mainly a combination of inequality and the infinitive and leaf surface of the gland and gland scale characteristics and powder Brown block.
