Objective To study the clinical and radiological features and the microsurgery therapeutic efficacy of intracerebral cavernous angiomas.Methods Analyses retrospectively46patients with intracerebral cavernous angiomas microchirurgie surgically treated from January2006to December2010and a review of relevant literature was conducted.Results There were46patients whose cavernous angiomaslocated in intra-axially, including35cases in cerebrum,35 cases tumor removal were achieved;9cases in Cerebellum,8cases tumor removal were achieved,1case was mostly removed.2cases in brain-stem, one tumor was totally removed, the other one was mostly removed.No patient died and severe complications happened.Conclusions MRI was major preoperative diagnostic routine. Microsurgical treatment is the first option for those patients with intracerebral cavernous angiomas, radiosurgery serve as a supplemental method.
