Objective: It has been confirmed in the prior reasch that TFCW has the ability inregulating blood lipid, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and anti-atherosclerosis. weconjecture that this function may be associated with its fermentative bacteria(probiotics)and its active metabolite(active peptides.AP). based on the above result, we explore theeffects of acticve peptides extracted and isolated from TFCW in3T3-1adipocyte on theexpression of PPARγmRNA and activities of NF-κB in the inflammatory state, to disscussits possible mechanism of anti-atherosclerosis. Method:3T3-L1preadipocytes of mousesource were cultured and induced into maturation, then stimulated with LPS, gievendifferent concentrations of HDL(10,50,100mg/L)and the avtive peptides extracted andisolated from TFCW(1,10,20,50mg/L), then the expression of PPARγmRNA, and theactivity of NF-κB were texted after the cells were collected. restult: PPARγmRNA werehighy expressed in the matured3T3-1adipocyte, when stimulated with LPS, level ofPPARγmRNA were descended, compared with LPS group, the expression ofPPARγmRNA were increased significantly in50,100mg/L HDL group and20,50mg/LTFCW group. The activity of NF-κB were increased significantly in LPS groupcompared with control group, while decreased significantly in50,100mg/L HDL groupand20,50mg/L TFCW group compared with LPS group. conculsion: active peptidesextracted and isolated from TFCW can regulate the expression of PPARγmRNA, and theactivity of NF-κB. It infers that the functional of anti-atherosclerosis may be resulted toNF-κB and PPARγ pathway.
