| Objective:To study the treatment effectã€indication and feasibility in primary closureof common bile duct following choledochotomy for common bile duct calculi.Method: Eighty seven cases of choledocholithiasis were chosen for primary suture by5-0viger after common bile duct exploration.Post-operative complications and the length ofhospital stay were compared with those with T-tube drainage.Result: Compared withT-tube drainage group, the complication rate was reduced and the length of hospital stay inprimary suture group was shortened. And also the mortality and operation time weredecreased significantly. Conclusion: The primary suture after common bile ductexploration in selected cases is proved safe and reliable. |
