Objective To improve peritoneal dialysis patients survival time and life quality by assessing the survival rate and the influence factors of the continuous peritoneal dialysis patient. Methods A retrospective analysis of June2001to June2012Xiangya2nd central south university hospital renal medicine dialysis center for celiac tube of peritoneal dialysis was parallel adult (age quartile14) medical records of patients was carried out. We recorded patients the sex, age, the number of hospitalized, etiology, diagnosis, blood pressure, the hemoglobin, urine, residual kidney function, plasma albumin, urea nitrogen, serum creatinine, cholesterol, triglyceride, complications. We analysed using the method of Kaplan with statistical analysis-Meier, and calculated the patients’ survival rates, and definited the prognosis risk factors using COX regression model. Results There are427cases of patients who in central south university Xiangya2nd hospital peritoneal dialysis center for celiac tube parallel peritoneal dialysis treatment from June2001to June2012, including256males(62.1%),and162females162(37.9%), with an average age of57.6±14.585years old. This study found that what leads to the major disease of end-stage renal disease are that:chronic nephritis176cases (41.2%),112patients (26.2%) diabetes, hypertension,83cases (19.4%), polycystic kidney disease14cases (3.3%), obstruction sex kidney disease19patients (4.4%), the kidney disease in5patients (1.2%), Other18cases (4.2%). The average rate of patient survival was80.33%, among which6months’ survival was95.81%,1year’ survival rate was92.17%, and2-year’ survival was85.57%,76.30%was at5years, the survival rate is61.25%. When peritoneal dialysis begins, the residual renal function in patients shows with maximum17.18ml/(min·1.73m2), minimum value is1.49ml/(min·1.73m2), an average of5.488ml/residual renal function (min·1.73m2). There are329cases of the residual renal function greater than4ml/(min·1.73m2), and98cases less than4ml/(min·1.73m2).Conclusion1.The rate of patient survival of regression in this dialysis centers similarly equals the level international reported.2.There are176cases(41.2%) of chronic nephritis,112cases(26.2%) of diabetes,83cases(19.4%) of hypertension, among which chronic nephritis still shows a high amount.3.The risk factors that influence the survival of peritoneal dialysis patients include low serum albumin hematic disease, residual kidney function and high triglycerides hematic disease, peritonitis and cardiovascular complications.
