Objective:To study the effects on the intestinal function recovery and mucosal injury repair by opening mesenteric lymph vessels in the intestinal ischemia-reperfusion model of rats.Methods:60adult and healthy rats were performed intestinal ischemia-reperfusion model. All the rats were randomly divided into three groups (20rats in each group). Group A:the mesenteric lymph vessels were ligated; Group B:the mesenteric lymph vessels were opened; Group C:sham group. The rats of each group were divided into four subgroups (5rats in each group) and executed on POD5, POD8, POD14, POD28respectively. Blood samples were obtained to measure the levels of ALT, TG and TC in serum. The small bowel tissues were collected to observe the histologic changes by HE stain and immunohistochemistry.RESULTThe serum levels of ALB、 TC、 TG in all the group decreased first and then increased gradually. As for ALB, group C were significantly higher on POD5, POD8and POD14(P<0.05) compared to group B, And group B were significantly higher on all the four time points (P<0.05) compared to group A. There was no significant difference between group B and C on POD28(P>0.05). Compared with group A, the serum levels of TC and TG in group B were significantly higher on all the four time points (P<0.05), but lower than in group C (P<0.05). As for intestinal mucosal height, villous surface and recessus depth, the data of them were significantly higher in group B than in group A (P<0.05) on POD5, POD8, POD14and POD28; while compared with group C, all of them were significantly lower in group B on POD5, POD8and POD14(P <0.05). There was no significant difference between group B and group C on POD28(P>0.05). MLVD increased in all groups. In group B, it was significantly higher than in group A on POD5, POD8, POD14and POD28(P<0.05) and lower only on POD5, POD8and POD14than in group C (P<0.05). There was no significant difference of MLVD between group B and group C on POD28(P>0.05).CONCLUSIONCompared with ligation of mesenteric lymph vessels, keeping mesenteric lymph vessels open was conducive to the recovery of the function and struction of small intestine in the intestinal ischemia-reperfusion rats model.
