Clinical Study Of "Hua Tan Tong Fu Decoction" In Treating Acute Stage Of Ischemic Stroke With Phlegm-heat And Sthenia Of Fu-organ

Objective：To study clinical efficacy of “Hua Tan Tong Fu Decoction” in treatingacute stage of ischemic stroke with phlegm-heat and sthenia of fu-organ and to discuss themechanism of this therapy.Methods：60cases were randomly divided into2groups，30cases in treatment group and30cases in control group. Routine Western medicine wereadministrated to the cases of control group.“Hua Tan Tong Fu Decoction” and routineWestern medicine were administrated to the cases of treatment group. The treatment cycleis14days.Changes ofclinical neurological defects of the two groups、Activities of DailyLiving (ADL)、 Syndromes of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)、 Blood-lipid、Endothelial Function、Fibrinogen and other lab indexes were observed before and aftertreatment.Results：14days later, we found total effective rate of treatment group was93.33%，which had an predominant difference compared with control group (P<0.05). Thescores of clinical neurological defects,Syndrome Integrals of (TCM) and the scores ofADL all had significant differences in treatment group before and after treatment (P<0.05),those in treatment group were signfiantly better than in control group(P<0.05). ET、TXB2、Fg levels were decreased and6-keto-PGF1a, NO levels were increased more significantlyin treatment group, compared with control group(P<0.05).TC、TG、HDL-C levels were allimproved,but there were no significant differences between the two groups(p>0.05).LDL-C level was decreased more significantly in treatment group, compared with controlgroup(P<0.05).Conclusion：“Hua Tan Tong Fu Decoction” can effectively treat acute stageof ischemic stroke with phlegm-heat and sthenia of fu-organ,improve the clinicalsymptoms of patients,and promote the recovery of neural function.
