Objective: To compare retrospectively the functional outcomes of patients withcervical hyperextension injury undergoing surgery and nonsurgical treatment, in order toexplore the clinical characteristics, diagnosis, treatment principle, clinical treatment andcurative effect of the stretched Cervical Spine Injury (Cervical Spine Whiplash Injury,CWI) of the pathogenesis, and then better guidance the stretched Cervical Spine Injuryclinical treatment, improve patients with all kinds of clinical symptoms and reduce sequela, improve the quality of life of the patients, and to provide reference for clinical work。Methods: To retrospectively analysis of the32stretched cervical spine injury cases, from August2010to March2013, which has complete clinical data and its follow-updiagnosis information, combined with the literature, we can summarize its pathogenesis, clinical performance characteristics, imaging features and treatment principle which isscored by JOA, classified by Frankel, Spinal stenosis. We can also analyze and evaluatethe inter-relationships decompression titanium nets bone road fusion fixation andconservative treatment of the curative effect, which is mainly refered by arm touchingallergies and the improvement of the hands residual numbness and the not flexible fineactivities, the length of the course, and patient’s satisfaction assessment。Results: The adoption of the interactions between anterior decompression anditanium nets bone fusion in the treatment of a stretched cervical spine injury is efficient.Surgery curative effect has a relevation with the preoperative cervical pulp oppressiondegree, trauma weight, the timing of treatment and the age. The statistical results of therelated factors that influence the operation are as follows: preoperative cervical pulp oppression degree (P﹤0.05), trauma degree (P﹤0.05), timing of treatment (P﹤0.05), age (P﹤0.05); Logistic return to the analysis results, the factors that effect thestretched cervical spine injury include neck pulp oppression degree, trauma degree, andthe course。Conclusion: The key point of the stretched cervical spine injury treatment is that itcan provide space by full decompression, and restore the stability of the cervical spine andnormal vertebra level by effective titanium nets bone fusion. It has an obvious effect thatwe give big doses of hormone shock therapy in the injury early stage, the active functionexercise in the postoperative stage and cooperation with acupuncture. Neck pulpoppression degree, trauma weight, the timing of treatment are the factors to influence thecurative effect of the stretched cervical spine injury. An MRI can check out the signalchange of the spinal cord in the injury section, which is the main auxiliary method for thedisease diagnosis. The diagnosis of the disease is combined with the history, clinicalpresentation, and the imaging material comprehensive judgments. All in all, the treatmentof the interactions between anterior decompression and itanium nets bone fusion is definite, stable and less complicate, it is the ideal method to treat this disease。...
