Objective:To discuss the effect of motion function and Cdhl mRNA expression on rats of spinal cord injury (SCI) treated with body weight support treadmill training combining with acupuncture.Methods:150female SD big rats were randomly divided into an acupuncture group (A),a body weight support treadmill group (B), a combination group (C), a control group (D),30cases for each,and a sham operation group (E),a blank group (F),15cases for each.To establish SCI model by cutting method for Group A,B,Cand D.Merely exposed the spinal cord for Group E,and started treatment on group A,B,C3days after operation,no treatment for Group D,E and F.To evaluate BBB scores3、5、7、14and21days after operation and to extract total RNA of injury spinal cord segments and to detect the expression of Cdhl mRNA by RT-PCR.Results:21days after treatment,BBB scores in Group A、B and C were significant differences (p<0.01).Expression of Cdhl mRNA topped Group C with significant differences (p<0.01).There were significant differences among Group A、B and D (p<0.01) and no obvious difference between Group A and B (p>0.05).Conclusion:1.Body weight support treadmill training on the improvement of movement function of spinal cord injury has a significant effect,and more effective than acupuncture group.Body weight support treadmill training combined with acupuncture treatment,the improvement of motor function in rats with spinal cord injury more significant effect.2.Body weight support treadmill training or acupuncture treatment can promote the mRNA expression of rats with spinal cord injury in the Ministry of Cdhl.A combination of both,better able to promote spinal cord injury in the Ministry of Cdhl mRNA expression.
