Effect Of Chaihuguizhi Soup Decoction On Expression Of TNF-α And Ctgf Of The Rats With Liver Fibrosis

Objective:To investigate the influences of Chaihu Guizhi decoction on treating liver fibrosis.Methods:60rats were randomly divided into five groups, namely normal group, model group, low concentrations of Chinese medicine group, high concentration of Chinese medicine group and Western medicine group. There were12rats in each group. Rat models of liver fibrosis were made by CCl4compound method. After2weeks, Chinese medicine group were fed with Chaihu Guizhi treatment and Western medicine group were fed with colchicine treatment, rats were killed after8weeks. Effect of Chaihu Guizhi decoction on the expression of TNF-α and CTGF of rats with liver fibrosis were observed by immunohistochemical method.Results:Comparing with the model group and low concentration of Chinese medicine group, the expression level of CTGF in high concentration of Chinese medicine group possessed a significant difference (P<0.01); However, comparing with the model group and low concentration of Chinese medicine group, the expression level of TNF-α in high concentration of Chinese medicine group possessed a significant difference (P<0.01).Conclusion:Chaihu Guizhi decoction can reduce the expression levels of TNF-α and CTGF of the rats with liver fibrosis.
