Objuctive:Paraneoplastic Syndrome are commonly found in SCLC, such as syndrome of inappropriate antidiuretic hormone secretion(SIADH), Ectopic ACTH Syndorme(EAS) and paraneoplastic neurologic syndromes(PNS), This paper is meant to discuss and to analyze the diagnosis and treatment of Paraneoplastic syndrome complicated by SCLC and to improve the clinical diagnosis and treatment efficiency for this disease through the reviews of16clinical cases of SCLC in our department. Methods:Retrospectively analyzed16patients with SCLC complicating Paraneoplastic syndrome treated in Shandong provincial hospital from January2006to January2012, and study them about clinical manifestation and treatment.Result:There are16patients, including7males and9females, Aging from36to75years The mean age of the16patients is57.3years, being diagnosed and treated as SCLC. There are12Patients complicated with SIADH, accounting for75%;1patient complicated with ectopic ACTH syndrome, accounting for6.25%;2patients complicated with LEMS, accounting for12.5%; and1patient complicated with both LEMS and SIADH. Accounting for6.25%; In patients with SIADH, sodium level was113.8-129.2mmol/L before treatment. After treatment including chemotherapy and surgery, fluid restriction, ect, the sodium level returns to normal. The patient with ectopic ACTH syndrome died from serious hypokalemia, In patients with LEMS, the symptoms of myasthenia improve better after the treatment of chemotherapy and surgery. Conclusion:The appearance of Paraneoplastic syndromes behave in different kinds and suggests the existence of SCLC, they disappears after the excision of the tumor or chemotherapy, and symptomatic treatment and Supporting Therapy should be carried out at the same time.
