Objective:Observe the clinical efficacy of vitiligo treating with tea polyphenol.Preliminary explore the molecular mechanisms of vitiligo using tea polyphenols,as well as the protective effect of ultraviolet radiation.Methods:Abserving the clinical efficacy of the vitiligo using three different concentrations(1%,3%,7%) green tea polyphenols followed up once two months and the recovery of vitiligo patients after four months.Detecting the change of the secretory cells-TNF-α、IL-1β、IL-6、TNF-α、IFN-γ、TGF-β which is secreted by tea polyphenols affecting keratinocyte cells with ELISA before and after UV irradiation.Results:Topical application of green tea extract in treating vitiligo and the tot al efficiency was45.13%,the effective rate was16.81%.But in3different conc entration of tea polyphenols in treating vitiligo,the there was no significant dif ference in efficiency(P>0.05).The disease duration less than or equal to0.5years is86cases,topical tea polyphenols after treatment,the total efficiency was65.12%, themarkedly effective rate was24.41%;0.5years<the duration<1.5year s in vitiligopatients is76cases, the total effective rate was38.16%,the markedl y effective rate was17.11%;duration above1.5years was64cases of vitiligo,t he total efficiency of26.56%,good rate6.25%.The course is less than or equalt00.5years in patients with vitiligo in the total efficiency was significantly hig her than the other two groups,P<0.001.Different parts of facial best effect,the t otal effective rate was47.56%,significantly better than the torso, limbs and extr emities (P<0.05).Laboratory studies have found,40mg/L for tea polyphenols have no effect on HaCaT cell growth at the highest concentration. The concentration of tea polyphenols in HaCaT cells,in the culture supernatants of TNF alpha,IL-1beta,TNF-alpha, IFN gamma,TGF beta concentration did not change obviousl y HaCaT cells after20MJ/cm2UV irradiation, IFN gamma decreased significa ntly,P=0.021.Join40mg/L tea polyphe-nols,the same dose irradiation did not cause a significant drop in IFN gamma,it concludes that tea polyphenols may in part be antagonistic ultraviolet irradiation induced by IFN gamma concentrati on change.Conclusion:The tea polyphenol is effective to treat vitiligo,especially of better effect in the face and neck,shorter duration of vitiligo patients. Tea polyphenols may in part be antagonistic ultraviolet irradiation induced by IFN gamma con centration change.
