Objective: Explore the advantages in the proximal femoral nail (PFNA)in elderly patients with intertrochanteric fractures.Method: selected12applications PFNA treatment of patients from2010.12-2012.1as the object of observation. Use blood loss, operative time,incision size, hospitalization date, and postoperative functional recovery asobserved indicators.Conclusion: PFNA in elderly patients with intertrochanteric fractureshas the advantages of small trauma、Satisfactory reduction、Reliable fixed、fewer complications etc. it’s ideal for elderly intertrochanteric fracturefixation materials.
