In this paper, through a way which establishes a three dimensional finite element (FE)model about foot with Solid works to provide a digital the platform in biomechanics research. The thesis will explain both the significance about foot bone to human’s body and thecharacteristics about skeleton structure of foot;at the same time, it also will summarize thedefinition of finite element definition characteristics and steps. It will introduce both thefeature about Solid Works and the main analysis function of its plug in‘simulation’, as well asdiscuss the necessity about establishing a three dimensional finite element (FE) model abouthuman’s foot. Aiming at its shape is complex、the quantity is too much、its volume is so smalland the joint is too much, it will analyze the main process which establishes a threedimensional finite element (FE) model about human’s foot based on a picture which is only0.625mm thick. This thesis scan image data from the edge of skeleton with CT firstly thenusing the Solid works to build the solid physical model skeleton in three dimensional. Finally,it will take advantage of Simulation, which is plug in of Solid Works, to analog analysis bothvarus and valgus of foot.
