The Research And Design Of Family-oriented Health Care System

With the development of electronic information, computer technology and networktechnology, family-oriented health care system becomes informationization and digitization. Itis necessary to improve the model of family’s health service for people’s high demands on thequality of health. Therefore, the family-oriented health care system have been researched anddesigned here. We use Visual C++6.0to realize the function of monitoring users’ health statusand medical service with home electronics testing equipment.A three-tier system of home testing equipment, family-oriented health hare system andcommunity centers is built, based on the demand analysis of the elderly, the chronically ill,sub-health patients and middle-aged population, the whole framework reflects the servicemodle of family and community, it monitor users’s health status comprehensively and connectthe community health centres. The system is divided to five functional modules, consist of thereal-time detection of physiological parameters, health records, health assessment, databaseand telereference, which makes the system flexible and easy to extend.The system has improved the contents of health surveillance and designed the functionof health assessment, monitor the user’s physiological parameters, daily habits, mental stateand sub-health state as well as the eldly and the chronically ill’s health station to evaluate thehealth status of each user, then give the knowledge of medical advice and health careeducation for health problems, which is applicable and practical with comprehensivefunctions. In addition, the remote consulting system has been realized through the networkconnections with community health centre, which is an extension to telemedicine.The interface of home testing equipment have been designed to realize the function ofData acquisition, processing and real-time display. The technology of MSComm control serialcommunication is used to transmit physiological data, and finish the processing of dataclassification and filtering, which makes the transmission real-time, accuracy and reliability.Double buffering graphics technology is used to display the waveform of physiological datasimultaneously to avoid the flicker or jitter of the image.The health information stored in Microsoft Access2003database, ADO is used to access the database. The system is fast, simple and user-friendly with the ADO’s advantage offlexible and fast database access, as well as MFC interface programming. Remote connectionof family and community health centre is realized through socket-based networkprogramming, TCP connection-oriented network communication is used, to ensure thereliability of data transmission.
