Objective: To compare of the efficacy of5-Fu sustained-release implant in localadministration and5-Fu chemotherapeutics on transplanted breast cancer of Balb/cmice.Methods: Fifty transplanted breast cancer of Balb/c mice were randomlydivided into5groups,ten in each group. Group A and B were treated withperi-tumoral implantation of5-fluomuracil implants and the dose of5-fluorouracilwas200and100mg/kg, respectively.Group C were treated with peri-tumoralinjection of5-fluomuracil solution and the dose of5-fluorouracil was200mg/kg,Group D were treated with injection of5-fluomuracil solution intra-abdominal andthe dose of5-fluorouracil was200mg/kg, Group E did not receive anytreatment.growth curve was plotted for changes in tumor volume, the weight of thetumor was measured and tumor inhibition rate was calculated.Results:1. The growth curve Was mild in group A and B and steep in group C,D and E,There were statistical differences in tumor volume between groups A and Band other groups and there were no statistical differences in tumor volume amonggroup C,D and E.After12days,tumor inhibition rate was50.43%in group A,41.64%in group B,27.57%in group C,and22.87%in group D;2.There were statisticaldifferences in inhibition rate between group A,B and C,D(P<0.05);3. There werestatistical differences in ErbB2expression rate between group A,B, C andD(P<0.05).Conclusion: Delayed-release5-fluoroumcil implants can effectively inhibittumor growth.... |
