The Fengling Gel As The Treatment Of Acute Onset Of Gout With The Type Of Dampnessheat And Turbid Phlegm Blocking Collaterals

Objective:Along with the change of eating habits and the duration of life, the prevalence of hyPeruricacidemia and gout is increasing year by year, and acute gouty arthritis and the gout insulting repeatly induce to joints malformation seriously, which influences patients’quality of lives. At present, there is no cure for this disesse.Due to a series of side effects, clinical application of western medicine treatment. And this study objective is to approach the clinic therapeutic effect, safe and adverse effect of the Fengling Gel that be used to treat the acute gouty arthritis acute gouty arthritis with the type dampnessheat and turbid phlegm blocking collaterals, to search for a more safe treating method of traditional Chinese medieine, by setting up control group and comparing interclass transversally of the pretherapy and posttherapy.Methods:Forty acute gouty arthritis’patients were average divided randomly into treating group(treated by Fengling Gel) and control group(treated by placebo). On the basis of the general treatment, Two groups of patients, respectively, coated with Fengling Gel and placebo.Observed five days before treatment and treatment of joint lesions in redness, swelling, heat, pain symptoms and blood uric acid changes, at the same time, detect safety indicators before and after treatment, including blood routine, urine routine, stool routine, hepatic function, renal function, electrocardiogram(ECG).Results:l.The total effective rate:the treatment group is95%, the control group is60%, and the two groups have statistical significant(p<0.05).2.The symptoms, physical signs’integral and Uric acid(UA) indexs:for both of the groups the intra group comparison has statistical significant(p<0.05)before and after treatment; the treatment group’efficacy of easing joint pain, tenderness, swelling is better than the control group.The UA indexs has no statistical significant(p<0.05)before and after treatment(p>0.05). 3.The adverse effects:In the two groups no abnormalities were found in the three routine examinations, hepatic function、renal function and electrocardiogram(ECG).Conclusions:The Fengling Gel reducing swelling and pain external treatment of acute gouty arthritis is better than the overall effect of placebo.Giving Fengling Gel can improve joint function indicators and shorten the course of treatment.Convenience medication, no significant side effects.
